James LeeGeneral Superintendent

From the age of eight-years-old, James would often join his father at work learning the ins and outs of commercial plumbing and on-site construction management. This served as a catalyst to what would become a thriving career in the construction and real estate industry. At just twenty-years-old, James became a foreman for Hood Plumbing Contractors, Inc. making him the youngest foreman in the history of the company. For eight years, James supervised the installation of residential and commercial plumbing systems while leading teams of more than twenty individuals. He also aided in the design and fabrication of large-scaled piping systems before joining Fieldstone Communities in 2004. In his time spent at Fieldstone Communities, James continued to build upon his management skills while working as a Project Superintendent and once again, James’ skill set and determination earned him recognition as the youngest individual to fill his role. James oversaw the construction of two model complexes and more than 200 homes while designing and implementing a “Cycle Time Reduction” program intended to reduce construction time and deliver projects in a timely fashion.

Before Joining the ConAm team in 2012, James returned to Hood Plumbing Contractors, Inc. as a Project Manager leading their new commercial division. While leading the launch of a new division, James’ responsibilities varied from estimating to project and quality management, and in this role, James successfully negotiated nearly one million dollars in new contracts.

Over the course of his career, James has developed an array of skills that have allowed him to excel as Lead Superintendent at ConAm Building CO. James oversees the on-site activities of all ConAm projects from start to finish. From the selection of specialized vendors, weekly progress meetings, and punch walks, James has played a key role in delivering several projects ahead of schedule and within budget.

In his time off, James enjoys spending time with his wife and two children often coaching sporting events or exploring remote sites while camping with his family.
